Information Regarding Cycrest Updates

As you may know, each time before we perform our various preventative maintenance processes on your systems, we send a pop up notification to your computer. As part of our preventative process to help keep you and your network safe and secure we install critical security updates, perform network checks, virus and malware scans, as well as a myriad of other network and system processes to help thwart the current and emerging threats in the marketplace. With increased threats occurring in the market place, Microsoft as well as other software vendors have stepped up their security-patching schedule, are releasing more and more patches and updates each week to help keep your system protected. While this is good from a security standpoint, this also means possibly more side effects, but we can help take care of those for you. One way you can help minimize any problems from these updates, is to have your team always log off their systems each night. On the days when we send you a pop up notification that we are doing updates, restart your computer at the end of the day before you go home. Please note, when you do this restart, do not log in at that time, just restart and leave.
